Remember back in January when I walked through the
evolution of my kraken and mermaid illustration? In June, I got some great feedback on changing the kraken character to make him cuter. So my last version of the illustration was this:

Then I decided to go in a much simpler style with bolder lines and a fresher background look. So now my illustration looks like the one on the top of this post.
