Illustration Friday: Silent

This is a painting I worked on last year. I'm not completely happy with it, because the water still needs work, but it does seem to evoke silence.

    it evokes the feeling of silence; since her back is turned to the viewer, it feels as though we are either with her or that we could be her - lovely!

    It definitely evokes silence...and the soft, intense blue of the water reinforces that! It is a very serene, quiet image. :)
